A Rare 1950-1960s Patek Philippe Triple Diamond Twist Motif Platinum Bracelet watch

The present timepiece is a fully signed exceptionally rare 1950/60s Patek Philippe Triple Diamond Twist Motif Platinum Bracelet watch which is signed on the case, dial, movement and crown. The timepiece comes with all original matching stones and is in perfect condition with no damage to the dial and extremely sharp hallmarks throughout indicating very little to no wear by its original owner.

While there are several examples of Patek Philippe diamond timepieces to hit the market there are very few examples which are fully signed throughout and there are extremely less ever produced in platinum as the present example is. Patek Philippe has been known to also supply movements for other manufacturers to design cases with which are called contract cases and are typically considered less valuable as well as more common. Timepieces which are fully signed by Patek Philippe including their case, dial, movement and crown are considered much more rare examples when compared to a Patek Philippe’s which are typically described by industry experts as. “contract” cased Patek Philippe(s) where Patek Philippe only supplied the movement as part of contract to a jewelry firm making examples where the Patek Philipe firm’s involvement from start to finish as with the present example offered here today much more sought after, collectible and valuable over the long term as a result.

Patek Philippe has been famously known for their extremely high level of craftsmanship and also for their use of only the highest quality of available materials within their gemstone timepieces to match their reputable workmanship. Very few timepieces during the 1950s and 1960s were produced by the firm for their female clientele which most famously is known for vintage men's timepieces and previously famous for their complicated pocket watches.

During Post world war two, women began to become more empowered and the timepiece manufacturers and jewelry houses recognized this new energy in society and began to focus more on the women's market as new clients. Specially ordered timepieces for important clients would be commissioned which would demand only the very best timepiece designs and materials. Most probably because of the scarcity which existed of platinum after the word wars, many firms also resorted back to the use of 18kt white gold to design jewelry and diamond timepieces with since so much of platinum being depleted by the war as a means to still satisfy the orders needs making this present example a truly unique piece commissioned for probably one of the firms most important clients. During this timeframe, Platinum metal designs were reserved specifically for the only the best examples making the present not just a very beautiful design but also an extremely sought after asset by the most sophisticated of collectors as it is also a good investment.

Designed with 3 different styles of Diamond stone cuts:
1. Approximately 24 Baguette cut diamonds in graduated sizing
2. 4 Marquis cut
3. & last but not least, 28 Brilliant round cut diamonds

The present example exhibits the finest quality in gem setting by the worlds leading brand Patek Philippe.
Styled more specifically as a twisting Diamond motif, the present example has a total number of approximately 46 diamonds all carefully placed and color matched to produce a timepiece concept which is fashion forward and timelessly iconic in design, making it a creation that is as in fashion today as it was 50 years ago. A creation which would have taken a tremendous amount of workmanship by a master gem-setter during this period.

Additionally, it can be worn casually or styled for the utmost of events as it is also platinum and has extremely high quality VS 1 brilliant round cut stones.
Further accented for comfort, the platinum double rope mesh motif bracelet is designed to provide additional comfortable & sophisticated style when worn.
