This excellent Vietnam era, ZODIAC AEROSPACE GMT watch is available fully serviced to perfection! The watch has recently been serviced, I wore it personally over a week, it has shown excellent time keeping results on my Witschi Watch Master machine, it is performing at under 10 seconds per day guaranteed. One loves a watch for not only the time keeping, but the sheer functionality, and the love of mechanics. The watch is a testimony to the Vietnam era, many watches like the Zodiac GMT were worn by veterans during this era. The Aerospace was invented for the GMT era, of time hopping travelers and the era of traveling over the seas on a jumbo jet.
The watch comes on a JB Champion mesh bracelet. The Aerospace GMT watch has a serial number 1,816,917 it has inside a GMT caliber Zodiac 75, the movement has just been serviced recently, so it should be good for another 6 to 7 years' depending on usage. The case is fairly clean, yet for collectors please note this: the bezel is in brass, and chromed, over time the chrome is wearing thin over the edges, and the brass is showing through the bezel. To me it doesn't represent an issue, but to some collectors finding mint Aerospace GMTs is worth considering the worn aspect of this example.
There are people who will research the availability of these parts, well let me tell you, they're becoming scarce indeed. So please reflect on this whilst you consider buying it.
The JB Champion mesh bracelet, is simply lush and wonderful, it is sometimes fiddly to get used to wearing it, but once you do get to understand it better, you will marvel at it., it is truly supple and owning several of these bands, they only get better when worn. Excellent summer wear.
